Natalie After pic crop e1299767268135 Natalies storyI met Linda at the Norfolk Show and to begin with I was very sceptical about her approach and whether it could help me lose weight.  I am always busy which is good but I used to have a problem with relaxing and would eat too much.  The programme was very affordable so I signed up.

 For me it took 2-3 weeks for everything to kick in then I started to notice my behaviour toward food changing. 

 Many people didn’t think I needed to lose weight but I know I was almost a stone heavier than I used to be.  On the programme I lost 8 lbs and it’s stayed off.

 The difference for me between this programme and diets is that by doing Tap Yourself Slim I know I could have it but didn’t want it … not like a diet when you want but can’t have.   I regained my old attitude back about food and stopped being so greedy.  And it was easy to lose weight.  The only thing I didn’t like was the relaxation because I found it hard to settle, I don’t know why as it hasn’t been a problem in the past doing yoga.

 It’s been 4 weeks since the programme ended and I’m still losing weight.  I’m just 4 pounds from my target weight and I’m starting for feel better about myself.

 If you are thinking this is a weird way to lose weight, you’re right but it works and makes sense. I’d say ‘go for it, you have nothing to lose, apart from weight!’ 

 Linda is encouraging, thoughtful, not too pushy and experienced.  The folder and notes we get at each session were a useful reminder of the session and good to refer back to.   I can already see other uses for EFT in my life which I’m now exploring.

Update January 2011. Natalie continues to follow the principles and still loses a pound every 2-3 months. she also uses EFT regularly in her everyday life.
