Debi’s Story

Through attending the Tap Yourself Slim programme I have shed over a stone in weight, and am no longer ruled by food.

Before joining the programme I was in an unrewarding relationship. I felt fat and unattractive. I wasn’t being true to myself and was comfort eating to make myself feel better.

I had realised that I was putting on weight each year and at 43 yrs felt that it wasn’t going to get any better so I was thinking of going to a slimming club even though I knew that it wouldn’t suit me. I find that kind of approach humiliating. Then a friend told about Linda and Tap Yourself Slim .

I went with an open mind. Although it does seem a bit strange at first. My friend who had done the course with good results said she had been transformed by it. Although I was aware of EFT I hadn’t heard of TYS before my friend told me of it .

From the start Linda was very easy to talk to, down to earth and friendly. The sessions were relaxed and informal. Linda has a knack of understanding what’s going on with someone on an emotional level and guiding them, through statements and tapping, to get to core issues which then, in turn, releases them from overeating or abusing themselves in some way. In other words helping people to love themselves. Linda is Brilliant. Very intuitive, fun and assertive.

TYS gave me hope!! I felt in control of food instead of it controlling me.

My self esteem grew. I had more confidence. I lost weight. I was able to face fears and overcome hurdles that had been holding me back. I liked myself then started loving and being good to myself. I got a job and started setting up my own business. I believe in myself. I feel strong! The list is endless its been a TRANSFORMATION!! Oh and I just keep shedding the weight. I’m also now single and enjoying it..

I was 12stone 2pounds when I started, 11stone 2pounds when the programme finished and am now 10stone 10 pounds. I have dropped two dress sizes and shed 20 inches in all. I have continued to shed weight and have found the concepts easy to follow as they feel natural and I was surprised at how easy it has been to stop overeating. At no time have I felt that I’m on a diet and having to deny myself any kind of food.

If you are reading this as you would like to lose weight but not sure about TYS I would say look at me! And go with an open mind, you will not be disappointed as long as you’re willing to tap.
